Chapter 2 - The Website Structure

At SD Worx, It's important that all countries websites follow the same structure for consistancy and performance reasons.
As you will see, each part of the structure is linked to a certain page type.
To make things easier, we have subdivided, the website in three levels:
Top Level

Country Switch
This is the navigation item where the link to other SD Worx websites is managed. It's mainly used when the country also host an academy website.
Top Navigation
The top navigation is where the buttons to the login pages and to the support pages are managed.
Navigation Level

Solution Section
The solution section is where our solutions are showcased.
This section is structured as follows:

- A content Page equiped with Content blocks leads to the different Domain pages (for SEO purposes). The URL of this page should be: Solutions in your language. This page should also be the parent page of each domain page.
- Each domain starts with a domain page.
- A subdomain page is necessary when more than 7 solutions are linked to this domain (left side of the graph above).
- If a domain contains less than 7 solutions, the solution pages can directly be linked to the domain page (right side of the graph above).
- The solution pages showcase the solution/product.
Target Groups Section
The target group section is optional. This section is relevant when you have a relevant offer for a target goup or a sector or when you want to specifically target it.
There are two approaches by company size and by sector. It's important not mix this approaches with each-others.
First Approach : You create a structure only around the company size:

A content page equiped with Content blocks leads to the different Target Group Pages (for SEO purposes).
The target group pages lead to existing solution pages which are part of the solution section.
Second Approach: You create a structure around the company size and the sector:

A content page equiped with Content blocks leads to the Target Overview Page by company size and to the Target Overview Page by Sector (for SEO purposes).
These Target Overview Pages by company size and by Sector lead to the Target Group Pages.
The target group pages lead to existing solution pages which are part of the solution section.
Resources/Insights Section
The Resources/Insights section contains all assets used to demonstrate our though leadership.
You will find below how the main navigation around this section has to be structured.

You will find below the interaction between the different asset types and their overview pages.

- On the Resources Overview page, all the blogs, publications (whitepaper, e-book, guide, research), podcasts and videos are showed.
- The blogs, publications (whitepaper, e-book, guide, research), podcasts and videos are linked to pillar pages to improve their SEO ranking.
- The pillar pages are the link between the Resources Overview page and the blogs, publications (whitepaper, e-book, guide, research), podcasts and videos.
- The publications whitepaper, e-book, guide, research) are automaticcaly showed on the publication overview page (when created).
- The Events Overview Page shows all types of events (Live event, live webinar and on-demand webinar). This is a possibility to link an event to a pillar page.

- The Simulation Tools Overview Page shows all simulation tools. This is also a possibility to link an tool page to a pillar page.

- The podcasts are automaticcaly showed on the podcast overview page (when created).
- The videos are automaticcaly showed on the video overview page (when created).
About SD Worx Section
- A content Page equiped with Content blocks leads to the different pages of this section (for SEO purposes). The URL of this page should be: About SD Worx in your language.

- Our Company shows showcases our company, our presence in Europe, relevant figures, the history of the company.
- Our customers page is a cases overview page from where our customers can see how we have performed with our current customers.

- Press is a press overview page from where the journalist can consult the press releases.

- ESG is currently a link to the ESG page of the corporate website.
- Careers is currently a link to the careers website of SD Worx (Find your work-life balance - SD Worx)
- Team SD Worx is a content page dedicated to the cycling team of Sd Worx.
Search Page
The search is added to the website when it's set-up.
Contact us Page
The contact us page is a content with a content block section in which a pardot form has been added. We advise you to add some logo on the right side of the form.
Country Switch
The country switch is set-up on the website before it's launched.
