What is the difference between a domain page, a subdomain page, a solution page and a pillar page?

These 4 pages have different purposes.

  • A domain page is used to showcase a domain. As you know, SD Worx has 5 domains, it means that a website should have maximum 5 domain pages.
  • A sub-domain page is used to showcase a subdomain. As the domains at SD Worx are wide, they are sub-divided in subdomains. They can be for example: Absences, HY Analytics..
  • A solution page is used to showcase the product which can be purchased by a customer. Solution pages fall post of the time under a sub-domain page.
  • A pillar page can only be used as a parent for Blogs, Whitepapers, e-Books, Studies, guides, videos, podcasts. It can only be found on the resources overview page. It represents general topics and can better aligned with queries from prospects on search engines.
