Chapter 6 - Monsido, our website optimization tool

What is Monsido ?

Monsido is a tool that helps you to improve your website pages in terms of speed, spelling and SEO (on page optimization).

Via Monsido you get actionable recommendations in a clear overview on what to be changed or fixed on your website.

Dashboard

When accessing you country, we will land first on its dashboard.

An important element to check is the important notifications on the top right of the page.

The most common items appearing in this section are:

• Potential misspellings

To access them, click on the section "XXX Potential missspellings".

A list of the potential misspellings will appear, there are 3 possibilities:

- It is a company name, a person's name -> Please add it to Dictionnary for all languages

- It is a correct name in my language -> Please add it to Dictionnary

- It's a misspelling -> You will need to correct it into Drupal itself. Click on "XX pages" on the row of the missspelled word, a list of pages where the misspelling is located will appear. Click on the magnifying glass of one of the pages, you will be automatically redirected to the place on the page where the missspelling stands on the website. From Drupal, you will be able to correct the missspelling.

• Broken links:

To access them, click on the section "Broken link affecting the most content". A list of the page where the broken links are located will appear. By clicking on the magnifying glass of one of the links, you will be redirected to the place on the page where the broeken link is located. From Drupal, you will be able to correct the broken link.

The tool should be checked once a week.

Only after attending the onboarding session, you will be given access to the tool and will have the possibility to book and follow a complete training provided by Monsido.
