How to use the draft functionality in Drupal?

Drupal gives the possibility to save a page which have been created without having to publish it.

Why?

You have created a page, you haven't finished it but you have to stop working on it and you don't want to lose what you have done.

You have created a page, you have finished it, but you first need the approval of someone before publishing it.

How?

Making sure the page is not published

Before saving the page, make sure that the "published" toggle is also disabled.

Visualizing the page even if it's not published

  1. Depending on the website you work on, Copy and paste one of the following links in your browser and press enter on your keyboard.

Nordics, UK & Ireland

Benelux

Central Europe

Eastern Europe

Southern Europe

Adriatic Region

Corporate

  1. In Drupal (the back-office), copy the URL section after for:
  • Com: after be/
  • SME
  • Countries : language-country code/
  1. Paste it after for:
  • Com : be/
  • SME (in Dutch: after "kmo/") - (in french after "sme/"
  • Countries after
  1. Push enter on your keyboard and admire your work ;-)
