Why do we use pillar pages?

Pillar pages are used in order to group the different assets mentioned above under a pre-defined topic. The fact that all the assets of the same topic are linked to the same pillar page and that they share a common URL section has a beneficial effect on the SEO ranking of these assets.

How does a pillar page look like?

A pillar page is composed of:

  • A title
  • A text
  • An image
  • The Content types which are automatically added when an asset is assigned to the pillar page
