Parent Campaigns
What is a Parent campaign?
A parent campaign in Salesforce is a high-level grouping of campaigns that helps organize and analyze the marketing efforts, budget, primary goals, opportunities generated, etc.. It is used to group related sales activities for better organization and reporting. You can create a parent campaign and then create child campaigns beneath it to track more granular campaign efforts.

- Campaign Name
- Campaign Owner (ownership and rights to edit the campaign)
- Campaign Group (select a grouping name for this hierarchy)
- Internal Division (categorize teams or departments)
- Country Code (To which country does this campaign belong)
- Target Opportunities (how many SRO you want to set as a target)
- Status (this will update automatically depending on the selected dates)
- Start Date
- End Date
- Campaign Currency (select your campaign currency based on country)
- Primary campaign goal (description below):
- Brand awareness
Choose this target if the primary goal of the campaign is to increase brand visibility and recognition. Such campaigns usually focus on creating a strong brand image without immediate focus on sales or lead generation as the main priority. - New contact
Choose this goal when the primary objective is to expand your contact database. Campaigns with this goal are geared towards capturing and adding new contacts to our Salesforce CRM. - Lead Generation
Use this goal for campaigns that are designed to generate MQL's for your sales / SDR teams. The primary focus is on capturing contact information and interest from potential customers. - Online Sales (Toolkits/Digital Selling)
Select this goal for campaigns that aim to drive online sales, particularly for products, services, or digital toolkits available for purchase online. These campaigns are geared towards immediate sales conversion. - Technical/Operational
Choose this goal if the campaign primarily involves operational or technical aspects of your business, such as preference center, website tracking, or integrations. This category is not related to other campaign goals.
