Triggers & Page level targeting

Customizing pop-up triggers based on user behavior, like time spent on a page, scrolling, or exit intent, can boost engagement and conversion rates.

Continuing with the set up here is the next step, mind that we showcase the functionalities that you are allowed to use, if doesn´t appear, do not proceed with such, it hasn´t been tested or its functionality is non applicable. Here’s how to set them up:

Step 3 - Align Display settings

  1. Triggers - they determine when your campaign shall be seeing:
Mind that this section is only available for pop ups and not for sticky banners
    1. Show after - shows the pop up after x amount of seconds (we recommend 10-15 seconds frame on most cases)
    2. Scroll - shows up after X% of page scrolled (best is at least allow 40% of page scrolled down)
    3. Exit intent - showcases when the visitor is about to leave
  2. Page level targetting - Choose where your pop-up appears:
    1. Target all pages - Avoid this as it can seem unprofessional and clash with other content.
Here is a link to the best practices to take into account before posting your pop up.
    2. Target specific subpages - in here you will be able to specify those subpages where to showcase/hide your campaign.
      1. If your domain has a lot of subpages, choose "show" and specify where shall be appearing
      2. if your domain has a little amount of subpages choose "hide" and don´t forget to specify where shouldn´t load
      3. In order to achieve perfect set up, we will list all subdomains and provide a combination of both choices:

to be able to get where we just saw, within this very same step there is a choice to submit if "show" or "hide" each of the subdomain you want to provide, as it´s seeing below:

that also allows to see how the pop would look like in the destinated webpage, if we click the check link.

How did we do?
