  1. Decide in which Folder you will store the File or Image:
  • If it will be used in different campaigns/templates: Content > Images
  • If it will be used in 1 campaign: Use the campaign-folder
  1. In the folder you want to place the File or Image in, click "Add New" > "File"
  2. Give your file a name
  • Respect the naming convention (!!)
    • Use the file extension as the <asset type>
    • For images, add the resolution in pixels after the <asset type>

  • Example for images: "UK 20AB001 Image example JPG 320x120"
  • Example for files:"UK 20AB001 White paper example PDF"
  1. Upload the File or Image:
Always first resize your image to the required resolution before uploading into Pardot. For email header-images the width should be 600 pixels (height can be chosen). For email banners the width should be 560 pixels (height can be chosen). For landing page header-images the width should be between 1000-1920 pixels width (height depends on the aspect ratio you wish to show on your landing page). See our HelpDoc on "Resizing images" here.

------------------------------OPTIONAL---------------------------------

  1. (Optionally) You can fill in a "Vanity URL" if you need the File or Image to have a readable URL.
Don't use a "Vanity URL" when it's not absolutely necessary. It could be usefull if you want to share a PDF directly on social media or in a postcard or flyer.
